Rose Alloteh, MD joined NBAA in 2022 after 15 years at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Completed undergraduate studies at the University of Ghana, and medical education at the University of Ghana Medical School. Diploma of Anesthesia from West African College of Surgeons (WACS) and started the first of two residencies with WACS. Immigrated to the US and completed a second residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ, followed by a Pain Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Special interests include OB Anesthesia, Acute and Peri-Operative Pain Management. Between two residencies, teaching hospitals, and private practice brings over 30 years of clinical experience in the field of Anesthesia to the practice. This includes years spent in resource-deprived communities. Speaks English, Ewe, and Ashant(Twi). Outside of work enjoys travel and attending dance classes (because it beats going to the gym). Enjoys spending time on issues that are close to her heart: female mentorship and helping with a family school in Africa which has graduated over 200 girls. Patient safety and comfort is my goal. I enjoy working with NBAA because ‘the difference between a workplace and a nice place to work is the people who make it so.’
