Daniel Smith, MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist with 20 years of clinical experience. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick. He went on to complete a surgical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Smith has a special interest in obstetric anesthesia. Beyond the OR, he enjoys playing chess, a passion that reflects his strategic thinking and attention to detail. When asked why he enjoys working with NBAA, Dr. Smith states, “I really love the camaraderie among the anesthesiologists. It truly contributes to better patient care and outcomes.”
