Assumpta Koo Yau, MD is an Anesthesiologist at New Brunswick Anesthesia Associates with over 40 years of experience, specializing in pediatric anesthesia. She received her medical degree from Hong Kong University and completed residency training in anesthesiology at both Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong and St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in New Jersey. She also completed fellowships in Pediatric and Cardiac Anesthesiology at St. Joseph’s.

Dr. Yau is fluent in Cantonese and English, and brings a warm, patient-focused approach to her work. Outside of medicine, she enjoys dancing, singing, playing piano, listening to music, evangelizing, and socializing. She values NBAA for its cooperative, compassionate, and highly skilled team of anesthesiologists.
